Instead of drilling the comb blocks, Majacraft has developed a new technique of bonding the pins into place with a very tough resin. The pins are positioned perfectly straight and perfectly even on every comb.
These are available either as a matched pair of combs mounted on a storage holder or as a complete Comb System set with a comb block, clamp and diz. This allows you to secure a single comb to a sturdy surface and carry out color blending in conjunction with a diz.

Single row combs
Single combs are particularly useful if you usually spin a coarser wool. They will help align the fibers for producing a worsted yarn and will remove most of the short fibers. Fibers and colors can also be blended using our mini combs.
Double row combs
Double combs are great for finer fibers. They will help you to prepare a sliver that will give an excellent result when spinning worsted yarns. Color and fiber blending is simple and effective. Try using a diz for taking the wool off the combs. The resulting sliver is a joy to spin and, as is often the case, the time spent in preparation is taken from the time spent in spinning later.

Both single row (15 tooth) and double row (29 tooth) combs are shown. You will receive one pair of the style of your choice (not 3 combs). A pair of single row combs weight approximately 8 oz. A pair of double row combs weigh approximately 11 oz.

combs for years, and have our trusted, tried and tested Majacraft method
of setting the lovely smooth (not too sharp) tines in place, so they
are solidly fixed, will not bend, and stay straight even after years of
use.
Their standard combs are FINE combs, suitable for anything 18 – 30
micron fibers, wonderful on most Merino, Corriedale, Romney, and other
fine to medium fibers.
If you've developed a taste for very fine fibers, such as beautiful cria alpaca
fleece, softest baby camel, and other delightfully soft, very fine
micron fleece (12-18micron), then these Extra-Fine combs may become your favorites.
