Schacht has built a lifetime of service into their hand cards. They
have a small lip molded into the rear edge of the paddle to protect the
carding cloth from becoming worn and the handles have been precisely
tenoned into the paddles for superior strength.
Cotton cards are
available with 208 psi (Point per Square Inch), which is great for
cotton and other short and/or exotic fibers.
These are available with
curved-backed paddles.
