Ashford Boat Shuttles

Beautifully shaped and well balanced, now available in two sizes. Made from Silver Beech hardwood. Lacquered finish. Includes one nylon boat shuttle bobbin.

Specifications, Two Sizes:

The bobbin is 4-3/8" overall length and the hole is just over 1/8" diameter. For a bobbin winder to fit, we suggest , the new Ashford wooden single ended bobbin winder, the small shaft steel & brass Swedish Bobbin Winder. . . or a double ended bobbin winder.

  • Shuttle 15 inches (35cm) - extra length for wider weaving widths
  • Shuttle 11½ inches (29cm)
  • Cardboard Quills or Nylon Bobbins available in packs of 10.
