Kromski Minstrel
JUMBO FLYER KIT - Unfinished
Spin and ply chunky art yarns on your Minstrel Spinning Wheel. This
Jumbo Flyer Kit comes with a jumbo flyer with an 18mm (0.7″) orifice,
jumbo bobbin, front maiden post and slow whorl. Spinning ratios are 4 :1
and 5.3:1. The ratios are great for low or medium speeds and for some,
this will be the flyer for general purpose spinning.
Set includes the flyer, Whorl, late style front maiden and 1 jumbo bobbin.
The jumbo flyers for the different Kromski wheels look very similar, but they ARE different and NOT interchangeable.
NOTE:
if you already own a Minstrel and want to add a Jumbo Kit, you must
determine the manner in which your front maiden post has been installed
on your wheel. If you do not have the current set-up - brass finger nut
going up through the base into the maiden - your will need to do some
simple woodworking to facilitate the jumbo option. There are YouTube videos available to guide you through the modification if needed.
