Corriedale Wool Sliver
This very white Corriedale top has a micron count of 27-30.
Ashford Corriedale sliver is a 100% New Zealand product.
Put up in a well prepared sliver, this nice, soft wool is easy to draft and spin - fibers are about 4¼" long, making it an excellent choice for hand spinners.
Takes dyes exceptionally well.
Suitable for wet felting & needle felting too.
Supplied in 8 oz or 1 lb quantities
Ashford wool sliver is 100% New Zealand grown and processed from sheep
that have not been mulesed.
It is scoured (washed) by a standard aqueous
treatment at 60-70 degrees Celsius, using a biodegradable 6 mole
detergent.
The wool is then dyed, dried, gently opened, conditioned,
carded, gilled, and combed to align the fibres and remove any foreign
matter.
