Choose either the UNFINISHED kit so you can do the finish-sanding, stain (if you choose), and seal with Ashford's Wax Finishing Kit (or a lacquer or polyurathane). . . OR, choose a kit that has been finish-sanded and the Ashford factory has already applied a clear lacquer finish (you just need to do the quick assembly and it's ready to use!).
