These floor swifts are 42" tall with a skein circumference adjustable from 1 to 2 yards. Because of the natural beauty of oak, cherry, walnut and birch, they are left unstained. The swift skeinwinders are all treated with Watco penetrating oil finish and need only to be occasionally cleaned with a high quality liquid lemon oil furniture polish. Strauch recommends that you do not use any paste waxes as it will alter the texture of the wood.
