Glimåkra Ideal is a well proportioned small loom for the weaver, who has a great interest in weaving, but who doesn't have enough room for a bigger loom.

Despite its size, Ideal is a versatile loom. With the Ideal you can do any type of weaving, which is possible on 8 shafts. The weaving widths are 27 inches (70cm) and 39 inches (100cm).

It can be equipped both as a counterbalance loom or as a countermarch loom. Ideal is made from Swedish pine.

Glimåkra Standard - The Standard among weaving looms

The Glimåkra Standard is a sturdy and well constructed loom based on traditional Swedish loom design, where every feature has a purpose based on making weaving easy and pleasurable. You will quickly realize what a good, strong, complete and well built loom Standard is. You can use it for all kinds of weaving.

Standard is a loom with open side frames, which allow you easy access for threading and tie up. Loom light is available.

The Standard is really a versatile loom. You can start with the basic model, 4 shafts and 6 treadles. As your interest in weaving develops and your knowledge increases, you can add more shafts and treadles to your Standard.

There are also many attachments and accessories which can be added any time. Standard is designed so that you can equip it with a fly shuttle beater, double warp beam, sectional beam, loom extension, drawloom, etc. This will make your weaving even more advanced and enjoyable.

Julia - real Glimåkra quality in a small and practical format.

Julia is made from carefully selected Swedish wood with the gables painted in a lovely red color. Julia can also be ordered in natural wood. The compact size makes it very practical and it is perfect for those with limited space.

It is easy to weave on the Julia, even if you have never woven before. It can come with 2 or 4 shafts (currently available in the USA only with 4 shafts - image is shown with two shafts) and with the weaving width of 67 cm (26.5"), Julia is ideal for weaving tablecloths, runners, towels, shawls or art weaving.

Julia comes with heddles, lease sticks, shaft holders, warp sticks and tie-up kit, the bench shown is an optional extra.
