Check out these wood umbrella swifts! They look exactly like the Scandinavian unfinished wooden swifts we also have available. . . except that these have a super-smooth lacquer finish and the smaller one costs less!

The larger one can handle a skein that is between 12" and 100" in circumference. The smaller one can hold a skein that is between 12" and 72" in circumference. Most skeins and most niddy-noddies are 2 yard (or less) versions.
