"Little Man" Boat Shuttles

Quality and affordability. . . These Boat Shuttles are constructed from laminated hardwoods and are designed for the effecient use of space allowing you to use the largest bobbin possible with the smallest overall length. Well finished with a silky-smooth finish. The bobbin shaft pivots at one end and the other end - although held in place securely with a strong magnet - is lifted to remove or insert a bobbin.

The shuttle in front has an overall length of about 9.5" with a height of 1.25", the bobbin opening is about 5" (made for our 4 1/2" metal bobbins, the 4" plastic bobbins also fit well - 5" plastic bobbins don't)

Moving back, the second shuttle from the front has an overall length of about 12" and the height is 1.25" (this is our most popular Howell's boat shuttle), the bobbin opening is about 6" (5" plastic bobbins fit well, 6" metal bobbins are perfect, 6" plastic bobbins are not)

The third "Little Man" Boat Shuttle is about 15" in length with a height of 1.625", the bobbin opening is about 9.25" (the metal 9" bobbins a perfect fit. . . or two 4" plastic bobbins).

The shuttle in the back is about 16" long with a height of 1.625" and a bobbin opening of 10". You can use one of our 10" metal bobbins or one of plastic bobbins in 4" (or two 4"), 5", or 6" length.
