The Swift / Skeinwinder Combination Set made by Strauch is a beautiful functional tool that deserves a place in your home. These floor swifts are 42" tall with a skein circumference adjustable from 1 to 2 yards. Because of the natural beauty of oak, cherry, walnut and birch, they are left unstained. The swift skeinwinders are all treated with Watco penetrating oil finish and need only to be occasionally cleaned with a high quality liquid lemon oil furniture polish. Strauch recommends that you do not use any paste waxes as it will alter the texture of the wood.

This 'set' includes a swift, floor stand and a table stand.

There is a collar with a brass thumb-screw at the bottom of the swift to hold it open in the chosen size and there is a small handle at the top to use when you are winding a skein.
