Schacht Boat Shuttles

Schacht offers a variety of boat shuttles, all beautifully shaped and well balanced. They are sanded smooth and given a hand-rubbed Danish oil finish. The 9" is styled after a Japanese silk shuttle. This duck-nosed shuttle is wonderful for narrow widths and fine yarns. The 11" boat shuttle (the most popular) is offered in slim and regular styles as well as closed-bottom and open-bottom styles. The 13" and 15" shuttles can handle fine to medium weight yarns and have a greater yarn capacity. Double-bobbin boat shuttles and end-delivery shuttles are also available. The 9", 11", and the double-bobbin shuttle use 4" plastic bobbins. The 13" use 5" bobbins and 15" boat shuttles use 6" plastic bobbins.
