Schacht has added a brass hook to the whorl end for high-whorl spinning; they have retained the notched shaft for bottom-whorl spinning. The 3” has a new, thinner profile that resembles our traditional 4” spindle. The 3” weighs 2.2 ounces and the 4” weighs 3 ounces.
