They are ideal for learning about four- and eight-shaft pattern weaving, since the direct tie-up through the hand levers allows for infinite experimentation. Made from the finest hard maple and are built for maximum structural stability. Choose a 15", 20", or 25" weaving width in four or eight shafts. An optional "X" frame stand is available. A second back beam is available as an option on the eight shaft loom. Weight ranges from 18 lb. (for the 4 shaft 15" loom) to 36 lb. For the 8 shaft 25" loom). All four shaft looms come with 300 flat steel heddles - the 15", 20", & 25" eight shaft looms come with 300, 400, and 500 flat steel heddles respectively. Choose a 6, 8, 12, or 15 dent stainless steel reed (default is a "12"). Schacht table looms are built to your option specifications when you order. Build time can be 3-5 weeks.
