Finn, also called "Finnsheep" or "Finnish Landrace" white wool combed top.

This about a 27 micron wool top with very good elasticity, good luster, and very good felting qualities.

Maybe not quite as soft as Merino. . . Maybe closer in feel to Targhee or BFL. . . Soft to the touch, easy drafting (good for the beginner), good elasticity, excellent felting.
